  FIRST IMPRESSIONSβ NAME & BIRTH: Tatsu Yamashiro (western order) aka Katana / birthdate and age unknown. β VISUAL: Physically, she is not imposing at all. Her actress, Karen Fukuhara, is billed at 5'2", making her a teeny thing. But the scowl - and the sword - add at least two feet to her presence, psychologically speaking. What people would notice right off the bat: Japanese woman, shorter than average, hair cut in a no-nonsense bob, a few noticeable scars across her jawline and lips. β FASHION: She's almost always seen in a leather jacket, simple black pants, and combat boots. Despite the showy look that comes with the territory of being from a superhero canon, it's pretty clear that Tatsu is no fashion horse. Everything about her wardrobe is chosen for a purpose, either for cultural significance or, more usually, function, right down to the binding of her chest. Her mask is the most defining part of her appearance; the only time she's seen without it during the movie is during a moment of vulnerability, and it's likely that she wouldn't take it off unless under duress or around someone she trusts fully. β DEMEANOR: Her whole posture screams "100% done with you before I even start." Always ready for a fight, always prepared to strike should the need arise, she is the consummate warrior and her aura exudes a suitable harshness. β AURAL: Unless pressed, Katana speaks Japanese, opting for direct, harsh verbage. If necessary, though, she can speak perfectly unaccented English. Her voice is husky and deep for a woman. β OLFACTORY: Clean, unscented soap. Under that, there's always a footnote of blood: not hers. β MENTAL INFORMATION: As of yet, we don't know if she has any mental shields or unique immunities towards telepathy. Still, be warned that her mind is not a happy place and it's probably not a good idea to poke around in there. β MAGICAL INFORMATION: Her sword traps the souls of her enemies. The exposition says pretty much that...and only that. How it actually works and its origins are unexplored as of yet in the DCEU.  PLAYER INFORMATIONβ BACKTAGGING: To infinity and beyond. β FOURTHWALLING: Not interested. β PHYSICAL AFFECTION: If it's a shipping/smut meme, sure. Otherwise, she'll probably cut your hands off. β PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Absolutely fine. β RELATIONSHIPS: Again, if I'm posting to a shipping or smut meme with assumed CR in play, this is gravy. But if not, she's still grieving over the loss of her husband and has no interest in moving on with someone else. |
